Re: Secondary clutch question
Nitro, I would start with maintenance. Check to see that there is oil in rear end, if its not clean change it. Make sure its at the proper level. Then grease clutches, and make sure they are articulating. Make sure motor mounts are good (holding the motor in place under load). Also Lube shifter cables.

Re: Secondary clutch question
Ya Nitro, I'm pretty sure that is correct! I don't have that rear end, but ya. Maybe also, have somebody move the shifter back and forth, while you watch the cables and how they move the shifter arm on the tranny. Maybe you will be able to tell if the cables are moving the arm far enough. Also if you are in cold climate, Smallblock says that sometimes the cables get ice/water in them and freeze.
Good luck Mike |

Re: Secondary clutch question
Ya know, I shift my body weight when I shift the car to either direction. I throw my body weight forward to move the car an inch or so,so the teeth in the tranny mesh instead of sitting beside each other. If you can vision what I mean. I do it now and I don't even think about it when I'm doing it.
