BC, I missed something here. Was this a conroller cart? What type? Just an upgraded controller and 48v? Motor upgrade?

No - this was an 02 PDS cart. I started by upgrading the controller to a 500amp Alltrax with a D&D 76-51 motor. Then I moved up to the 48 volts.

Next step will be to add a rear flip seat and HD rear leaf springs.

Lift $400
Wheels and Tires - $350 after selling the old ones.
Motor: $200 after selling the old one.
Controller - $400
2 additional batteries - $130
HD Solenoid - $50

So - ROUGHLY $1500 in aftermarket stuff....

I posted some performace figures on a different thread - but basically, here is the general version...

Stock cart on 23" wheels - 15 mph.
Added Chip - 19mph (took forever and a day to get there though)
Alltrax controller and D&D Motor - 23mph - GREAT gain in torque.
2 additional batteries - 30mph and another HUGE gain in torque.

The controller and motor is like a gateway drug... they simply enable you to make the most significant gain - adding more voltage!
