Default LED light kit confusion

So I bought the basic LED head light and tail light kit and thought this was going to be a simple plug and play. The instructions are telling me I should have a 12 pin light harness in the dash, however the only connection in there is a 9 pin. The harness that came with the kit has a 12 pin, which according to the instructions is supposed to connect to the harness in the dash, and a 9 pin which the instructions say is for blinker add on. What am I missing here.

Next issue. I have installed a 48-12v voltage reducer and have the wires running into the dash behind the key switch. I have the reducer wired to run through the switch so that the key has to be on in order to have 12v. I then ran the 12V switched wire from the reducer to a fuse block, where I had planned on running all of my accessories from. Question is, how do I get voltage from my 12V fuse block into the LED light kit?

Yup, you need the bucket harness. I like the red hawk one as it's an exact copy of the factory wiring.

I have an 06 so likely different. I have the 12 pin you describe in my Precedent and the light kit and reducer were all plug and play. Can you also post a pic of the reducer? There are wizards in this forum that have helped me through some tough spots; I'm sure they will chime in shortly. The key is to provide all pertinent information so they can work their magic.

I want my voltage reducer to feed a fuse block because there are other accessories I plan on running off of it, nut just the light set. I just assumed I would have a DC+ and a DC- wire to connect 12V to and get this running.

The 08 and above carts need a bucket harness which will have a black and blue wire which feeds the voltage to and through the light harness system.

Wire those two wires to your fuse buss bar.

It seems in the OPs pic of the lighting kit it does include the bucket harness...
