Default Need help finding new charger for 2006 Precedent

Have a 2006 Club Car precedent and having issue with the charger.

The connector into the cart is tight and does not always fit in there correctly.

As a result, I am starting to have issues where I think the cart is fully charged but it's actually dead.

The charger I currently have is probably the original one that came with the cart.

Is there another charger I can buy more advance so I can confirm that when I connect the cord that it's actually charging?

Please let me know. Thanks.

It should be a Powerdrive 2 or 3 charger if OEM.

You can spray WD-40 on the outside of the plug and work it in and out several times to make it easier.

You will know if it is working as when you plug it in, about 5-10 seconds later it will kick on. It will run until the pack is fully charged and shut off.

If you just want to buy a new charger, you will have to buy one that works with an OBC cart or bypass yours and purchase a smart charger.

I am not sure what to do.

it does click on after a few seconds but it's not loud of a click as before.

I've had it plugged in for a few hours now. It's reading 48.2 on my voltmeter.

Also, the display on the charger itself has not yet moved from zero. photo attached.

What should I do?

Do you hear the charger humming? If so, the fuse is blown on the back of the charge receptacle and needs to be replaced.

If you do not hear it humming, we have a problem with the OBC or something in the charger.

You can use a continuity meter on the receptacle fuse to check it.

Hate to recommend an OP that kind of expense when there is probably a cheap solution for their current charger... But yes, that would be next if it has for some reason lost its transformer.

It does not sound like it's humming but not sure. When I disconnect the charger cable, I do hear a click though.

However, the needle on the charger is not moving at all from zero.

I pressed the black on the lower right and it starting humming for a few seconds and then stopped.

The voltage is at 48.2 volts although I've only had it plugged in for a few hours.

What should I do now?

This: That is the starting point. It is under the seat and behind the charger cord receptacle you are plugging the corn into. And there is no amperage going in so you are not charging. That is what we have to correct.
