Default Curtis controllers

I ordered a new controller and they sent one that has what looks to be the wrong one for my cart. I don't know if I can use it or not and don't want to hook it up for the fun of it.
Will this new controller work on my cart? See pics,

Installing it will likely make returning a fight... wait for a response from the experts before you install it

But they’re gonna need to know what drive system you have to give you a good answer... looks to me like the same controller with a run/tow port added but I don’t know why they would do that

Yeah... it’s probably the right one... they just threw that in there to cover more cart models

I sent some pics and query to the seller, and am waiting on that, but I thought I might get better info here.

You have what appears to be a 1204M or 1205M controller with 1/2 speed revers.
The four pin jack is for an external LED or a for connecting a Curtis 1311/1314 programmer.
The spade lug standing by itself is the 1/2 speed reverse input.

The most significant question is what type throttle does your cart have (0-5k pot box or ITS) and what type throttle is the new controller set to?

attached pic is what I guess is called a 0-5 pot box. Am I right? The controller is supposed to be set for a 0-5ohm. All said the new controller should work just connecting the 3 spade connectors as the old one was, and of course the power cables, correct?

Should work perfect! Ignore the extra pins that your old setup didn't use..
