Re: anyone using all sports rear disc brakes precedent
The brake-flip is no longer necessary now that Club Car has released a longer brake cable for the driver's side.

Re: anyone using all sports rear disc brakes precedent
I got the brakes installed and worked on one side at a time to keep the diff oil in place. The most significant pain was the axle snap ring. I was able to modify the ring pliers by making v-notch cuts to keep them from slipping off the ring. Once I did that, they came off in 10 seconds. I ground down the existing cable bracket just to give a little clearance to the brake cable, and I also painted all the parts, including the rotors.
Does anyone have issues with warped rotors causing the brakes to drag slightly when rotating? For instance, if the wheel turns one rotation, then the brakes will drag for 1/8 - 1/4 of the rotation. |
