battery cables
Dumb question. I have A 1993 CC DS 36 volt V glide resistor cart. That I've installed a Allsports 4" A arm lift kit on and 20" tires on 12" rims. Now I'm replacing Battery Cables with 2 gauge cables. So far I've replaced the 5 cables between the batteries and one from motor to battery negative. Also from the battery positive to the F/R switch. I wanted to change out the cables from the V glide to the resistors. But the larger cables won't fit. So is it necessary to change these cables. Also what other cables do I need to replace?

Re: battery cables
that cart is limited at the vglide ….cables to resistors wouldn't do much , if anything and its usually a pain to work on that board.....those vglides don't like big tires and rims and lifts....drive it off or wide open....
OR ….. go here and read this if you really want this thing right.... https://www.cartsunlimited.net/conversion-kits.html |

Re: battery cables
You have a good chance of melting the V-glide with the lift and larger tires. An MCOR and solid state conversion is the way to go.
