need a wire diagram for a '76 electric ezgo

working on a project from the 70's. I need a wire diagram since it had a few wires hanging when I got it. the batteries were disconnected and the key switch was removed. trying to troubleshoot this but can't do it until it is wired correctly

Looking at the second wire diagram, it look like most of the same parts were used but some of the wires that were not disconnected do not match this diagram. plus looking at the motor it has 4 post straight in a row with no markings on it. and one of the wires goes to the first lead on the accelerator switch. as far as I know this was running prior to me getting it.

I'll bet the motor has the numbers stamped in the case right by the terminals.

I broke out my SPOT LIGHT and there is no sign of any markings on the case or end cover of the motor. This also may not be the correct year. I found the S.N. 760319I07022. Really need to make sure that I have the correct diagram and start over with the wiring.

It is a 1976.
I've never seen a motor without the terminals stamped in to the case. May be painted over or covered with dirt but they are almost always there. There is always a first time though.

Pics of battery bay will help. 3 wheeler? Motor perpendicular to rear axle and resistors toward back of battery bay under driver?

My 86 should be very similar in design to yours. I hit my motor with a soft wire brush in a drill and you can see the S1 and A1's clearly.

Its on the aluminum caps not the steel motor belt.

This is a old 3 wheel cart with the motor perpendicular to rear axle and resistors are actually behind battery bay, over rear axle, on the driver side. I will clean every thing with wire brush to see if I can locate the stamps on the aluminum housing. Thanks for all your help.

This Drawing has all the parts covered, this is the motor, Great work. But with the exception of the accelerator switch assembly. at this point it has the four post solenoid as shown in: Electric EZGO golf cart wiring diagramsezgo1rt4.jpg. Laying both diagrams the F&R switchs are not wired the same. the A1 from the motor does go from the motor to the accel switch as shown in the last in leiu of the motor to F&R switch. confused. I will try to get some pics of the box and attach them.
