I still need to know if i will hurt 3 new battereise by combining them with 3 mediocre batteries. I can only afford 3 right now. 3 of m batteries test 75% with a hydrometer and 3 are toast. If I mix 3 new withn the 3 75% ones will I be hurting the 3 new ones?
You do not want to add 3 new to 3 old. You will end up buying 6 again. If you can find some used ones to get you by, then do so. I do not have any old batteries, as I just sent everything back yesterday as cores with our shipment of fresh batteries. 75%? How did you come up with that figure? Bring the cart by and lets hook a discharge machine to it - I'll tell you exactly what you need then. Just have it fully charged before you get here...

Please listen to these Folks- 99.9999999999% really know what they are talking about!
I did not listen to them and replaced just part of my pack and the bad one brought the good ones down just like they said- Now 6 months later I am replacing everything

I know it bites, but it is the best

the people here have made the newby mistakes and speak from experience

I am a newby and made mistakes, but since I found this board, I have made a lot less of them

Glad to have you here Thank you for the "Wisdom from the Newbie corner". I always tell people that they've never had to buy gas or oil, so when batteries go, it's time to "fill the tank"...

OK, I figured it was a bad idea to mix good with bad. I will continue to save my pennies until I can buy 6 of them. Unfortunately I cant get my cart to Mike anytime soon as it is resting comfortably out in the boonies of West Texas awaiting its fresh batteries. Last time I tried to use it it crapped out about 1/2 mile from camp. Wish i ad a video of me trying to tow it back with my 4 wheeler all by myself. Pull it a 100 feet, stop run back and correct the steering then pull it 100 feet and repeat. By the time I got done that old Marathon is lucky it didint become bonfire material!

Rookie of the Year nominee, right there. And, I mean that in a GOOD WAY, not a rip at all. You have seen the light, Spots, and you should be recognized.

Or, just take advice from spriddle. Whatever.

It's unfortunate that the 0.00000001% guy is a photoshop addict, too
