Sorry yes I mean solenoid, This is the first electric to have an issue.

What controller was in the glovebox. Aftermarket? If so, You need to check the motor. I would atleast check the motor for a short, unwanted continuity

original controller, I'll check for any voltage read from motor. Make sure not a short there.

Take the power trigger wire off your solenoid (probably the small red wire) on the small studs, still got juice going?
