won"t move
just bought a cart for $200 took it home and charge the batterys but when i step on the gas it don't move but i hear a click:

thanks it has batterys and the tires looks brand new it even came with a charger but the seats is covered with red dirt(cause i live in hawaii) mud and tiny rocks all in the battery compartment he told me that the solenoid burned so the replace it and now it dont want to run what else can i check p.s. i gave it a good cleaning before i charge the batterys

We need to know what year and type of drive system before we can help. Is there a Serial # and Manufacture code on a tag in or under the glove box? Canyou post a pic of it? |

hi bro-dubi and welcome.
i'm new here too and i picked up what i think may be an early 80's for $250 ....'complete'. been slowly replacing the batteries and cleaning. not much i can offer but will be watching. terminal cleaning, specific gravity and voltage tracing would be where i'd start. |

Then it is a series cart? DO you have a voltmeter? THere are complete diagnostics in the stickies at the top of this section
