YAHOOOO
Thanks to everyone, I got it running

seems some things had gone bad while it was setting

I'll give a rundown of corrective actions

constant beeping=had a buildup of resistance between the forward/reverse switch and the off/on cleaned connections (also took off/on switch apart and cleaned contacts) that got the beeping to stop AFTER the accelerator was pressed, also the sol. energized but the cart still would not move

back to troubleshooting and found a bad connection (burned inside of the connector) on the motor I had to really yank on it to pull it out
repair connector (new end) beeping is gone, cart runs

THANKS EVERY ONE

That's great news. Can you elaborate on the burnt wire inside the motor? And thank you for letting us know what happened!

The wire was burnt and corroded inside the sleeve of the connector, it checked good for voltage and a gentle tug showed it was tight (without load) I was working alone so couldn't check under load.

continuity check showed about 29 omhs across the cable from from the motor to sol. a good strong tug and the wire came off in my hand, after getting the connector and nut out where I could really see them they were both discolored from heat

almost every post on this site with an electrical problem said "make sure the cables are tight and clean" I didn't realize that I needed to JANK on them

Thanks Every One

You made me feel like a hero
