DCS carts are murder on controllers if they are lifted with big tires.
To go to series you need a series motor, controller, F-N-R Switch and associated hardware to mount the switch and a rewire job.
IMO the simplest fix and upgrade is put a 400 amp Alltrax controller (DCX400) in it with some 4ga cables and call it a day.

All I can say is good luck with that conversion, and make sure you count the days it takes.

I agree with DOUG. An Alltrax controller will cure 98% of the DCS issues.. Make sure you have good batteries..

The 2 biggest killers of DCS controllers are the driver and .... Oh, the driver !
DCS carts eat controllers under two conditions I know of, which are both avoidable...
1. Low voltage operation.....get a $50 digital in-dash led meter.
2. Changing direction before stopping ... don't do it

Yep, My neighbor's son, 16, has went through three motors and two controllers in 6 months... DCS carts just can't handle any type of abuse. The motors include a stock one, D&D, plumquick, and the controllers were a stock one and a DCX400..... We just put the 4th motor a stock one and a third controller a stock one back in it so he can sell it, he finally bought a series Club Car..... My opinion, sell it and get anything Series.
