One of the obc functions is to provide the negative side of the activation circuit for the solenoid...

When the cart won't go, does the solenoid click?

You say you replaced the OBC with a microprocessor on the charger.... What did you do with the OBC? How did you eliminate it from the car? You can't just remove it and throw it out. Certain wires have to be bypassed certain ways. Is this a series car or an IQ car?

thie is an IQ and the obc was bad and removed. followed the instructions which cut out the wires on the obc. yes I get soleniod click but it will drop out and thought we had a bad soleniod but a new one does the same thing.

And what did the instructions tell you to do as far as OBC bypass is concerned?

instructions were to cut black wire on charger rec reroute wire to battery main neg.
for IQ cars - cut light blue wire at pin 5 then attach wire to cut in blue wire and rout to pos side of soleniod.
tape up end of blue wire going into 16 pin connector
car does charge correctly.

OK you did it properly. What is your battery voltage? A weak car can drop voltage so low upon acceleration that it will stall.
