Default Is lithium from the factory ready for prime time?

I've heard that there have been some issues in the first roll out of the Onward lithium from the factory: range not as expected, charger issues.

Has the factory fixed those? Are people still having problems? Should new Club Car buyers get regular batteries for now and do a drop in conversion eventually or wait for the factory lithium to get the kinks out?

Thanks for any experience on this.
