OBC is only available on 48v carts.

Manually charging should be unplugged at 60v just for safety.

I'm really confused after reading for hours regarding bypassing the OBC.

Post #2 of this thread states: "Make a connection between the white and blue wires of the 6 pin plug."

Post #7 of this thread : http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...86-newbie.html states: "permanently jump the red wire to the blue wire (pin 2 and pin6) in the vehicle wire harness at this connector."

So which is correct??

They both work and post #1 on this thread explains the difference between the two methods.

Sergio,

Thanks for the clarification.

After studying a bit more I see that by using the white wire, that the connection to the controller is both fused and interrupted by the run/tow switch.

I can appreciate that both elements make the white/blue connection more secure.

This is the electric Club Car section. You will should ask this question in the electric ez-go section.

I ordered a DPI from Scotty, and will be doing the bypass when I get the new charger. I was curious if the safety lockout that disables the cart will still work with the OBC bypassed? Its a 2006 Precedent IQ with an Alltrax XCT400 controller.
