Default Front end rebuild

Well I got my cart running thanks to all that chimed in. I noticed when I turned right the left wheel would be all cockeyed and not the same as the right. After looking close, the axle is bent and I think thats what is causing the issue. It's got cart concepts stamped in the lift spindles so I'm unsure of what size lift it is. I'm running 23s very easy. Gonna straighten the axle back out and beef it up just a little. Any ideas I'd love to hear or see.

This is how bad it was. First picture is straight side. Last picture is the side that was bent. Got her all straight andre welded all the cracked places and also added a piece of 1-1/4" angle to the bottom to add just a little more strength. Didn't want to beef it up much because I have lift spindles. I'll take some more pictures when the paint dries.

I'm thinking that "Cart Concepts" maybe had really bad concepts of how to make strong front ends. It appears to me the metal said front end was made from is no where near strong enough to do the job. If your reinforcement doesn't do the job, you likely will need to consider another lift kit that can handle the load.

Yea i agree. Here's it now beefed up some. The axle is stock. The 1/4" angle worked perfect. Working on the the tie rod because it was bent also.

I don't think the lift is at fault here. I think it was a matter of operator error..... looked like the stock front axle got bent from impact with an immovable object. I see that a lot on lifted carts where the driver had a few too many cold beverages and smacks a tire into a tree while on the trails.....
