Club car precedent, electric
I have a 2008 precedent.changed the mcor, checked batteries, solenoid and speed control. Charges at 60v, sustains 48.8v. Accelerates then drops to 24 to 27 volts. Have to pedal the accelerator to maintain speed and power. After peddling will get to speed at 47 v. Thats on blacktop. On grass is another story. Goes great in reverse. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Club car precedent, electric
That sounds like a battery issue as 48.8 volts after charging is only 57% charged. As more apparent by the lag when you are under a load (such as going through grass creating more resistance)
How old are the batteries? |
