Also you mentioned it was plugged in when the house was struck by lightning. Does it have a fuse or a breaker reset button on it

As Tahoe mentioned the top and side Diodes are different, make sure you have them installed right see part numbers below.

Thanks and yea I've been looking and trying to find out which board is which bc all I can find are the boards I have now..... thanks for the part numbers I'll look them up

I would bet that they are reversed from each other but without seeing the original I couldn’t tell.
