You should always plug your cart to the charger at the end of the day.
A single bad cell in one of your batteries can cause the entire cart to stop working. The Amp Hour capacity of your entire 48v pack is equal to the lowest Amp Hour of your worst battery (even if the other ones are brandy new super duty capacity). Every electric cart owner should have a dash mounted digital voltmeter, they are inexpensive and can save you a lot of headache. Hopefully the cart will fail again so you can find the cause. Remember, You can not eliminate anything when the cart is working. |

i appreciate all of your help. i will keep you posted on this issue and let you know the final outcome and if someone finds themselves in this unfortunate situation they can get it squared away quickly. i do have a state of charge meter that i attempted to install last night but i fried it instead....after the first epic fail i did get it installed correctly but now the whole meter stays lit....

JMT553- I have my original silenoid that worked perfectly when I upgraded. If you pay shipping its yours if you want to throw it in. It is from my 13 Precedent. I am in South Florida, not sure where you are...
