48 volt Rxv no power
Bad charger plugged in and now cart has no power. Where are all the fuse locations? Cart is 48volt RXV.

Re: 48 volt Rxv no power
Depending on what happened there is also one hidden in the charger socket.. With the charger unplugged from the cart, check for 48 volts + on the blue wire at the socket

Re: 48 volt Rxv no power
We work on gas carts but took 48 volt cart in for neighbor. Someone wired rxv plug into charger in reverse. Figured their would have to be fused in here besides keyswitch fuse on cover. So fuse in charger receptacle?

Re: 48 volt Rxv no power
There is a fuse hidden and buried in the plastic of the socket for the activation circuit for the cart. That is connected to the blue wire with the disconnect under the socket. With the charger plug not connected you should have 48 + on the blue wire at the socket and the pack negative. If not the fuse in the plastic is probably blown. There is another set of fuses in front of the controller under plastic covers. Is there pack voltage at the charger socket itself ?

Re: 48 volt Rxv no power
Can you bypass if fuse is blown by just running to 48 volts with in line fuse?

Re: 48 volt Rxv no power
48v to the blue wire at the charger port will bypass the charger interlock circuit. If that's all that's wrong, the cart will run again. Cart would be able to drive while charger is plugged in. That sounds dangerous considering the other stuff that's happening around there.
