Re: So I need more speed ! Any suggestions. ?
That's what I'm saying. Lift and tires will give you some more top end but your can expect to lose torque. Same with a speed gear. Your best bet is a combination of clutching and tires. Plowman specializes in yamaha and he can guide you right to get exactly what you're looking for.

CP241 really knows what he’s talking about with these Yamahas- (and any gas carts for that matter.) I’d take his recommendations[emoji1303]

IMHO, the only way is to go with the gears, tires adds you really a lot less for the bucks!!!

Re: So I need more speed ! Any suggestions. ?
Another option for cheap speed is to use 22 x 10 x 8 tires on your stock rims with an econo lift kit

Re: So I need more speed ! Any suggestions. ?
It is not the wheel size that counts. It is the outside diameter of the tire. Rough numbers would be 20" 10% speed increase, 22" 20%, 24" 30%. I am running 24" tires with a 6" econo lift. That required a lot of surgery on the back bumper area with 20" tires up front.
