Removal of speed sensor 2005 ezgo PDS

Even with the alltrax the speed sensor is beneficial so before you throw $500 at this I would at least check the rollaway function unless this is a “Honey we need a new controller..”

The hill trick worked as far as the beeper going off, but it did not try to slow itself. It just kept beeping!

The error code was 1-3, which I believe is a bad sensor.

My new speed sensor and Freedom chip are to be delivered today. We’ll see how that goes. I’m like a kid on Christmas morning!

They make it look so easy in the picture to get the armature out of the end plate. I am trying to put new brushes into a PDS motor at home and I can't get the **** armature out of the end of the motor! Is there a trick to getting the bearing out?
