Help me Identify this cart
A friend of mine took a golf cart on trade and was trying to sell it to me today. It looks like an EZ Go. The serial # is YKXXB001047.
It has a water cooled engine and hydraulic brakes. It starts with the key. It has a drive shaft that goes to the rear.. It has a busted u-joint and it wont start. I am trying to determine what year, make and model. Thanks |

Re: Help me Identify this cart
Pretty sure that's an engine swap and drive train swap to go to a key start

Re: Help me Identify this cart
Can you tell what year it is by the serial number?
Also check out the placement of the pedals and e-brake, they look factory. |

Re: Help me Identify this cart
Nothing I ever seen before, 4 bolt fat steering column? tube front axle? water cooled motor? hydraulic brakes? drive shaft to the rear-end?
body looks to be TXT but no recess indentation for the EZGO emblem on cowl. Does look factory or attention to detail builder,.... I'd buy it.. |

Re: Help me Identify this cart
Looks interesting but i suspect it is a Chinese clone but possibly modified to take a bike engine going by the bodywork and other parts as Stovebolt mentions!

Re: Help me Identify this cart
Look closer at the engine / drivetrain. See if you can find any manufacturer / emissions labels.
I'll agree it looks like a TXT shell, Marathon underpinnings, but the drivetrain is nothing I've ever seen. Looks well done. Has a factory made appearance. Very interesting, but not sure where you would look for parts to get it running. |

Re: Help me Identify this cart
I have never seen anything like this that ezgo made. Would be nice to take a look underneath . Someone did a good job.
As for buying it. Well, I would pass. |
