By now it is dried out and the car runs. You must have a car with the exposed micro switches on he f/r switch. If those get wet it won't run until they get dried off.

This is a heavy duty IQ Plus vehicle. I can tell this by the fact that it has 8 batteries instead of 6. The most common problem I see with these cars are bad speed sensors and bad battery connections from near broken or corroded wires. The first thing you need to do is to check your battery voltage. You need to get a reading of the voltage across all 8 batteries while the car is resting... and you also need a reading of the voltage when the car "drops out" If one of the batteries is bad and the voltage of that battery drops significantly lower than it should it can cause the whole system to shut down. To check the speed sensor, put the car in the RUN mode, put the F&R switch in either forward or reverse, turn on the key and push the pedal until you hear a solenoid click to ensure that the system is awake. Then, get off of the vehicle and try to push it. If the car rolls easily and silently you've got a bad speed sensor. The car is supposed to roll a few feet before it starts to "regen" or hold itself back. It will be accompanied by a few beeps from the reverse buzzer while the car is holding back on you. If you hear the beeping, the speed sensor is sensing that the car is rolling and it's working properly.
