Interstate Battery info...
Yesterday I went to purchase my new battery pack for my 48v CC DS. I ended up going to the local Interstate Battery dealer and got 6 of the Interstate "Workaholic" 8v batts made by US Battery. While I was there, the manager told me that the skid of the US Battery made Workaholics were the last of them he would have. Once they are gone, they are switching to JCI Manufacturing for golf cart batteries. I asked if these were Johnson Controls batteries and why they are switching. He said that they were Johnson and the reason was the cost of the US Batteries was going up and Johnson Controls has been trying to get the business for a while.
I know that Johnson also makes the Energizer for Sams so it sounds like Interstate will be getting from the same manufacturer. Maybe they will be made to Interstate specs? Anyone else heard this from Interstate? Just thought I would post the info! |
