Fixing Up Old Marathon Carts
I recently got two old Marathon carts. Not sure what years yet. The serial numbers are 327537 and 257637. I am currently working on fixing them up. If anyone has any info on where to get a diagram or manual for these carts or any other useful information that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome OldPike...lots of good stuff found here. I myself have an 89 Marathon that I fixed up. If you find the Marathon owners section let me know where it is.

Re: Fixing Up Old Marathon Carts
Welcome to the world of old EZGOs. I had a huge amount of fun restoring mine so I am very jealous of you having two to play with. The clue to the year is actually in the last two digits of the model number so if you see xx86 and xx 89 then you have a 1986 and a 1989. My ride had been driven until it seized up, beaten to death with a hammer and then dumped in the woods. Nevertheless such is the quality of the EZGO that parts could be replaced or fixed and now it holds its own with any cart on the community. If you need any help just ask and in return post lots of pictures, we like pictures.

Re: Fixing Up Old Marathon Carts
Thanks, RIB. I've tried that before though and it said that the serial number is invalid. The carts, which I found out thanks to Dave Box, are an '82 and '84 which must be too old to be on their site. I think I could get one running I just need to know the ratio of gas to oil to put in it. Does anyone know where I could find that?
