what are these MCDR, microswitch
Hi guys,
Here is a short list of what I am doing:' 1996 series ezgo 48 volt conversion 650 amp controller 4x4 kit from imaginative mfg changing fnr manual switch to toggle switch My question is I am looking at a solenoid f&r wiring diagram and I am seeing two items that I do not know what they are - microswitch and MCDR or Patentiometer. I believe the microswitch comes on the stock car, but I am not 100% sure what i looks like or where to find it. I have no clue about the MCDR. Do any of these need to be upgraded or is stock ok. Thanks for your help. I will post pictures as soon as I have time and can figure out how |

Re: what are these MCDR, microswitch
It's not M-C-D-R, it M-C-O-R. It's a Club Car throttle position sender. On an EZ-Go it's called an ITS.

Re: what are these MCDR, microswitch
Your EZ-Go Series cart has an ITS (Inductive Throttle Sensor) located in a small box under the floor mat. The accelerator microswitch is also in this box. The ITS and the micro are part of the controller control circuit.

Re: what are these MCDR, microswitch
Hi scotty,
Thanks for the help. I have 4 low voltage leads on my controller in lieu of the 3 that you are showing. The wiring diagram I have for the controller shows leads 2 and 3 going to the ITS. Lead 1 is a red wire coming off of MS3 throttle and lead 4 is orange and comes off of MS4 reverse. Hopefully this will be self explanatory after I open it up. Thanks again for all of your help thru this process. |

Re: what are these MCDR, microswitch
The orange lead is half power reverse, I don't like it on an offroad cart. I fold it back on itself and shrink wrap it
