My wife's ipod nano has a radio built in. So you can play mp3s or listen to the radio. My vote is ipod, marine 6.5's, and amp.

Overtons has a nice small amp set up for an ipod or iphone hookup for $65. Im going that route but was wondering on speaker placement. Im thinking on the glove boxes and was going to make a door out of diamond plate and was wondering how to actually keep the plate from falling out.any suggestions?

You can't go wrong with those under-dash speaker pods. Even with used speakers from some clunker I scrapped years ago, the sound is great. As an aside, CD players are worthless in golf carts. Go mp3!
