Default Wet and beeping....

Well, since my cart lives outside, it got a good soaking last night. Went out this am and unplugged the charger and when I hit the pedal to go, I got a very faint beeping and a surging in speed. Tracked it to the controller. Noticed things were wet there so I took the compressor and dried it all off unplugging any cables too.. Still the same action. Stole the wife's hair dryer and put it on the controller. A few mins. later and all is well again.

Now....what is good to cover the controller with since there is no cover on mine? Was the original covered and did it keep things dry? What about air circulation for cooling?

Looking for cheap ideas..........

DOOmsman had the solution for you.
Go to Target or Wallyworld and buy a selection of Tupperware for $9 with the one you want in the mix, give the rest to your wife: Win/Win.

Not really but the controller should have a heat sink.
