Is this a 48v cart? Since it is half of the pack voltage, I suspect a wiring problem of the half speed reverse?

I checked the wiring again and testing it on the jack stands the wheels spin much faster.

It seems my mistake was in trying to stretch the cable set I got... yup. Should've gone with a labeled set instead I cut corners to save a few bucks. The last cable I had left in the wiring sequence went from controller B+ to the battery NEG, however it wasn't the PACK NEG. It went to the closest battery I could stretch it to from the controller. I just thought it had to serve as a ground and not go back to the PACK NEG.

After digging to find another cable to reach to the battery PACK NEG, the controller response is much more brisk and the wheels are spinning faster. I can hardly wait to try it out and post all my pics now!

Thanks for the brainstorming and hopefully this will help someone else who has had the same problem... not being able to read instructions.

I AM SO GLAD U FOUND THAT!

Quite honestly we have been all over the map trying to help you with your homemade conversion.
This is why it is so hard to help sometimes, I just never would have guessed that would have been the situation. So you have full pack voltage at the controller between B+ and B- when the solenoid clicks?
