Default S2 bolt on motor is broken off

Where the S2 bcable from battery to the motor goes, the long bolt-thingy is broken off. the other 3 bolts show as nut-cable-end-nut-bolt shaft. All I have is what is showing: very very sort shaft, with one nut. Now what can I do to fix thiis? Can the cable end just try to get underneath that one nut?
PS - VERY tight squeeze for me to lay under there! :-)
Thank you!
Susie

If you try to loosen that nut, the wiring inside the motor will get twisted and may break or short out on the case.

You might be to replace the broken stud, but you'll have to take the motor off.

If that is all that is wrong with motor, I might be a good time to send it to Plum Quick and let they do their magic on it.

In order to see if that is the only reason the cart wont go, ya think I can tape the cable to the bit of shaft, and see if it will go ?
Does Plum Quick do just a repair job? I looked there, seems like they do upgrades or replacements....
Thanks!

I'd try connecting the cable end to the broken stud with a set a automotive jumper cables to see if it worked.

I'm not sure, give them a call. I think they require a reparable motor for a repair/exchange or there is a core charge.

I'll try the cable thing. Uhhhh - I won't get shocked or anything that may explode, right?

Turn the key off and don't press throttle pedal while connecting it.

36V won't shock you, but you might feel it and the battery pack has enough amps in it to arc weld, so be careful.

I'd disconnect the batteries, + and - on each end of the battery pack. File a clean spot on the nut and putting the cable on it with a pair of vise grips, Make sure they don't touch anything else and when you're through testing unhook both the + and - of your battery pack.
" Vise Grips "- - - mans best friend! :)

Assuming it works, you may be able to disassemble the motor - not very hard and detailed in the stickies - and replace the nut with a rod coupling nut. For that size, any Ace Hardware, Lowes, or Home Depot will have them.
