This same guy said his Trojans are $625. Not a big difference, but I will never travel more than a mile in it. I can tour my whole subdivision and not go a mile. I used to take extended tours in my CC just to exsercise the batteries a bit.......

I do this very thing every couple of weeks....I have a circuit mapped out around the perimeter of my subdivision, its 5.5 miles.....and on a nice day I will take off and make 4 to 4.5 trips around. and that brings my pack down to about 60%

We have a local dealer that sells PowerTrons. The P-2000 (6v) set is $500 and the P-8000 (8v) set is $550. Me and a friend have used several dozen sets without failure. Very good batteries for the price.
