Does a regan 1 have a multi step potmeter if so how can i check it with a ohm metrr

Here is the pot box for the Regan 1 cart. I would not know about testing it with an ohm meter.

To the best of knowledge that was the throttle control, it took the place of the vglide and the mcor.

Based on my memory (too cold out to look), this is what my potentiometer on my Regen I is like. There are two plug sockets (I'm pretty sure). If yours is a lot different than this - you may not have a Regen I?

Mine no where near like mine is a multi step like ont thh olde
36 volt carts except for 6 gage wires coming from it it has resistors inside it with a rectangular plug on like #18 gauge wires from it going to controller |

Does yours look like a pie shaped box on the frame rail between batteries? If it is, you may not have a regen cart.

On a different thread, I learned that CC apparently did make changes to, and use V-Glides on (at least) year 2000 Regen carts - not Regen I, but probably on Regen II. Weird - maybe they disliked the Pot Box so much, they stepped back! Baffling indeed.

This Cart has been modified I dont know what I have It has a 11.0 Hp sepex motor that i have checked its ok It Has a v glide switch it has a tri 3 pin connector coming out of it
1 purple wire 1 white/black wire 1 yellow wire The controller some call it a t type thats no longer available but can be replaced with a ge regan 1 controller.it has 2 solenoides whick check ok one comes on when key is turned on the oter when accl is pressed down.it has a rocker switch.One more note the purple yel ohms reads 0 to 323 ohms but card does not move |
