2002 club car ds electrical issue

first, thanks for all the info getting started. I hope to be a future contributor.

I bought a gas 2002 ds, ran fine until i got it home. runs if i jump the big terminals on the solenoid. I traced voltage to key switch, and back to solenoid. I replaced all the micro switches, and the key switch.

I'm thinking its the solenoid, but before i go buy it it, i have this question.. I can put a jumper from the postive (red) wire on the solenoid to the small termial with the blue cable and the solenoid engages. so i am confused. it is just doubling the voltage enough to make it engage?

Also, I replaced the reverse buzzer, but when put in reverse Its not buzzing. is this a solenoid issue also?

i would be checking the wiring , something is not right check the wiring diagrams , mis wiring the microswitches can cause some funky workings

According to wiring diagram, switches are good.

Solenoid it was.
Should be good to go
