whats wrong with 25 kohler????

why don't see any post with kohlor comand 25 ?
i have a 2002 ez go shuttle 3 seater and i am thinking about putting this motor in it but i don't know what clutch or if it can be done.
i just need it for pulling not for high speed . any sugestions?

Got a kohler in my dixie chopper. No problems with it. Runs great.

I don't see a problem with it at all. Check with our site sponser's and see what they think. There have been a lot of other engines dropped into cart's. Yours could be the first one with a Kohler!

the kohler comand 25's are great engines with lots of HP upgrades, the tractor pulling boys have been using them for yrs. i never did understand why they didn't make it into the carts.

If I remember correctly, they may be too tall, but don't quote me.

i have had several Kohler's in some tractors and they never gave up.all the other parts wore out and they were still running strong.be sure to measure the height and the size of the shaft.

your right, some models did come with a very tall air filter assy! the heights of the blocks and intake systems were similar to the briggs. the install of a aftermarket air filter solved that.

I'm pretty sure price is a factor... Kohlers are more expensive than the Briggs.
Okay, now I wait fer someone ta come along and tear me a new one...

i saw them in a catalog from a tool company.they were the most expensive.i like them mostly because of the oil pump.
