Plowmans secondary belt?
I finally got the time to put the secondary clutch on my g1 but there is a lot of slack on the belt is that normal? It moves and seems to be ok

Sounds like either the belt is too long, or the secondary clutch is compressed a little bit and the inner sheave isn't moving all the way out (backshifting). Can you take a pic?
