Possibly something refurbished and the labels were removed? The Econo-Power batteries we have around here often have no stickers.

The batteries have no stickers on them besides the warning stickers shown on top. They don't appear to have ever had stickers on them. The guy I purchased from said the were new.

No but he lives 5 minutes from my house. Said the batteries have a 1 year warranty.

Im going to get up with him and find out when he is around again. He is a lineman with Duke Power and is busy fixing hurricane mess. I plan on going Lithium next anyway. If they are new I should get a few years before I need to replace them anyway. By then more drop in kits will be available and prices will be coming down.

I bought some East Penn batteries back in April. They may be the same. Here is the thread I started about them. Take a look. One more thing. Mine were bought in central NC.

My opinion is that these are counterfeit batteries. Or maybe you can call them store brand batteries. Dishonest dealers can buy these batteries and try to pass them off as anything they want. Mine were sold as Crowns 150.
They lasted about a year but it was a year full of aggravation. Needless to say I haven't been back in that shop. Here is a picture of mine. Difference is I changed out the caps.
