Are any yamahas posi or limited slip from the factory or are they all one leggers? Can they be modded for posi and if so what years and cost?

No posi from the factory... NO posi available for G1, G2, G3, G5, G8, G9, or Drive(G29). Posi IS available for G11, G14, G16, G19, G20, G22, G23, G27, G28. Did i miss anything?

Some people weld the spider gears but once you do, its done. Sure would be nice, had to slide around on the seat to get posi tonight in the snow with mine. Took a short spin on the plowed area and did some powerslides.

Sho it right, about the only thing you can do is shift your weight around. It's frustrating but it usually works

No, the tire with the least traction will spin (usually the passenger side), while the other does nothing. You then slide over to the passenger side to add some weight and traction to that side. Thats how the factory "peg-leg" system works.

Another option is to mount a winch onto your cart. You can then tread fearlessly into the mud, and it looks cool too.

Check Plowmans. They are a site sponsor and have excellent customer service.
