Ok raystar thank you for taking a look at it do you think that if I have it backwards it would burn the controller up immediately or the whole thing won't work

Prettt sure if you have the battery pack leads reversed, it will burn up the controller when the solenoid closes. But if you have the motor leads reversed it may just drive the opposite way. Or burn up the controller.

We really need a pic of one or you could contact the company that rebuilt it for the pinout.

I would not run it until you have more input.
Without knowing more about this specific controller there is no way to know what type of internal protection it has.

Many folks here have way more experience than I do on this type of issue.

Well raystar i went with your advice and hooked them up it made sense the way the cables were routed the battery positive wouldnt reach the middle terminal without being rerouted and it works witch is great only one tiny problem when you touch the pedal at all in forward or reverse the cart jumps like crazy like you are getting full throttle all the time the farther you push down on the pedal it makes no difference as soon as you turn it on it's on do you have any ideas

The middle terminal should be the M- and go to the motor A2 stud.

The B+ terminal cable is from the solenoid.

The B- terminal cable goes to the battery pack NEG.

At least that is what the schematic shows and makes sense.

Please confirm this.

This seems like the throttle control signal is reversed and you are at full signal to start.
I don't know if this controller has a programmable function for that.
Maybe you could try to swap the L and G terminals in the cable.
This would reverse the throttle input signal.

Oh, I see you say it make no difference in speed, like slow down the more you push.

Maybe the throttle control pot is bad somehow.

Can you test it with an ohm meter to see if it does vary resistance through its travel.

I am not sure of your throttle control unit. I am a Club Car guy.
