Default 1990 Yamaha maybe?

My first post. Pickup this 1990 Yamaha according to the serial number JF-00585.
Looks like someone cut the bag rack off. My question is will the struts and bag rack fit from a g14 or g16 cart?

I don't think they will just "bolt on", but with some backyard engineering you could probably make it work.

Thanks for the info. I’m having trouble finding another parts cart. Thanks again, this is a great place to learn and get information. Finally got brave enough to post.

Awe man, don't be shy. We all come here looking for people to help fix their carts. What are the plans for the cart?

Oh, and you can post on the parts section and ask for the parts you need. Sometimes one of us has a pile of used parts sitting behind the garage lol

"Too many" is open to interpretation. I've had as many as 5 at once & many on here have had more.

Ran466, Where are you located? I may have the correct parts you are looking for. I don't know how to post pictures on here yet.

That serial number is missing some characters. Yamaha serial numbers work like this... XXX-######. The first 3 designate the model, after the "-", the next one or 2 designate the year, the following numbers designate the build sequence, your carts unique id number. But in all instances, the first 3 will start with "J", and the last 6 will be only numbers. The last portion of a serial number will have only 6 characters, and they will be only numbers, no letters.
