Ok I guess I will pull off some numbers tonight when I get home from work. Then bring them back to here tomorrow. I doubt that the guy that I got it from, knew anything about the codes. The motor he said was stock, controller I would guess is stock, but I am not sure. 19.6 would be just fine, shoot 15 would be fine as long as it lasted for longer than 30 seconds.

I think step one would be some new batteries. 30 seconds is not good!
Then you can take it to a dealer and check the code and make it faster if you want to...

Ok so what is a decent price for batteries. They are kind of all over the map.

So I was told that the batteries I have in the cart now...Trojan T-185's are refurbished.

However, I charged them last night and this is what I came up with on the tester.

#1 - 9.0
#2 - 8.7
#3 - 8.9
#4 - 8.9
#5 - 8.7
#6 - 8.8

So I don't know... I am guessing that they are just not staying charged under load?

Those readings are high, likely fresh off the charger?
More accurate readings are taken 12 hours after the charger shuts off.
Connect the meter to the pack and drive, see what it drops to under load

Scottyb... yes it was fresh off the charger. I will get some new readings and take it from there.

See if you can attach the meter leads to the pack and drive....those are valuable readings.

What is a normal value for the battery pack to drop to when driving?

They are cheaper, but with batteries the phrase, "you get what you pay for" applies 100%.

I have heard that they do not last more than a couple of years.

People say they are good to put in a cart right before you sell it, and say it has "brand new batteries"...
