HD vs Medium Duty Springs

Just curious if anyone have tried or used the Medium Duty Springs. Are they a good ride and any bottoming out w/ rear seat installed?

I have read others have complained about the HD springs and their ride.

HDs come in many varities. 2, 3, and 4 leaf HDs are available

Keep this in mind when looking at springs,The number of leafs and the leaf thickness both affect the strength of the leaf.You can have a 2-leaf that is stiffer than a 4-leaf,due to the leaf-thickness being greater.Look at a Current-Model F250/350 pickup,they have (2).499" thick leafs,where an older version of the same truck has 5-7 thinner leafs(usually .323" or .360") and less capacity.I hope this makes it easier to understand along with the other info tht has been posted on this topic in other threads.

I had the same concerns about the HD springs being to rough on the ride. I went with Club Car Precedent Dual Action Heavy Duty Overload Leaf Spring and they ride nice with or without passengers on the rear seat.

We purchased the same springs last summer and were very pleased.

I installed the dual action springs along with a fold-down rear seat on my 2008 1/2. The new springs gave a slight lift to the back of the cart. I have stacked 6 x 50# bags (300#) of salt (for my water softener) on the back of my cart and it was like a non-event. I'd definitely recommend the dually's...

I also have the dual action springs and cannot say enough about them! They are soft and flexible when in the trail but when I loaded her up with a fairly large amount of dirt they handled it like a champ...
