That's what I was thinking. May try the temp thermistor as it's only $15.

12.7 is a fully charged battery. Try charging each battery with a 12v charger. Get each battery up higher and then try your charger again and see what happens.

But what good is a charger that won't start charging after a normal day use. Gotta manually charge them every day to get the regular charger to start? Who needs to charge a fully charged battery?

Most cart batteries aren't ran down to 10% charged. I wasn't saying using a 12v charger all the time just now because they are very low.

These suggest that a 48v QuiQ could start up with as little as 12v. I think we are dealing with a bad board inside the charge port, or a bad temp sensor.

I'm gonna start with the temp sensor then move on to a charger if need be.

Can you replace just the board in a charger?

Can't replace the board in that charger. I was talking about the charge port on the cart, yes it has a board... And "replace the charge port" is the solution to that board failing. You could try the temp sensor first, since it's the cheapest.

Ah, I see. Guess I should have read a little closer. Either way it's a pretty cheap fix it sounds like. Thanks for your help.

I cut the temp sensor off and tested it and at room temp I have about 8.8 ohms of resistance but holding it between my fingers it drops to 7.5-7.8. Any idea what it's supposed to be? I am fixing to just order the receptacle and be done. I just don't want to throw away $110 if it's not the receptacle. Is there a test I can do on the charger to be sure it's ok?
