1997 TXT 36v. when I press pedal the cart moves just a hair then I hear a very soft clicking sound. Batteries good, lights work too. Any suggestions what to check next? Thanks!!!

Re: Tries but won't go
jack up cart and see if tires spin , then try it on the ground
if tires do not move on ground then it would be a stripped hub |

Re: Tries but won't go
Thanks Crash! I am VERY embarrassed to tell you what the problem was . . .
low batteries. I tried using my charger and it wouldn't do anything-so I thought great, now my charger is dead also. Still a little bit newbie, I called a friend back home. He said to try charging two batteries at a time with my car charger, then followup with cart charger. It worked! Then, when I let off the brake and pressed on pedal, off it went!!!!! Prayers answered!!! Thanks again for your quick response!!! |

Re: Tries but won't go
When I said in my original post that "batteries goo" it was because the meter showed 27.7v. My friend said that most chargers won't sense batteries lower than 31-32v.
