G8 changing problem
I have a G8 Yamaha gas golf cart having problems with the starter generator not charging. Put new voltage regulator on did not fix problem when I bought this cart the wiring was all jacked so now I am trying to fix somebody else’s problems.There’s a green wire that comes off the generator to the voltage regulator and a red white wire comes off the generator to the regulator and that’s the only place They go straight from the generator to the regulator and there is a brown wire that comes from the regulator back to the starter relay hooked to the side that goes to the generator and there is a ground wire on the regulator to
So do I have a bad generator? |

Make sure the connections are good from the regulator plug to the other end at the generator.
