One more question. The original motor had r/b/w wires coming out of it with a 3 pin connector on the end that was connected to the controller. The new B4 has a triangular pigtail with r/b/g wires but they are thicker. Is it ok to splice the thicker wires from the B4 to the thinner wires from the original motor in order to hook in to the Alltrax?

Splice the speed sensor output from the motor to the speed sensor input to the controller. The speed sensor is a very low amp circuit, so slightly thinner wires won't make any difference.
