Cart King..... um.... WOW!
I called them today about the solenoid for my cart, all I can say as a possible first time customer is WOW!
I wanted to reach through the phone and slap the guy silly. He must have yawned 30 times. I was afraid he was going to fall asleep. the "Yeah man" and "Sure Dude" were killing me. He had no clue about the part. Insisted that the 70A and 120A ones were no different and I should just pick one and kept asking someone else in the background the same questions I was asking him. This is not how I would want my company represented to customers, that's for sure. |

Re: Cart King..... um.... WOW!
You know, I have had some pretty bad troubles with CK lately myself (read the "Dumb Question" thread in this forum) but this is new - at least the good part of the customer service was the guys on the phone when I dealt with them ...
BU's prices are pretty dang close, and I have to say they're going to have my business from now on anytime I can give it to them - never had a hiccup in 2+ years of ordering from them, FAST shipping, good service (their tech guy is an old "Cartie" from WAY back and is an absolute BLAST to chat with) ... Food for Thought !!!! |

That is bad customer service! I think they just lost a potential customer here. I've never had a bad experience with BU either but my cart is a 79 so they don't have as much product for the older ones.

Re: Cart King..... um.... WOW!
LOL - yeah, that's definitely their weak spot, Scotty ... It's just a drag when there's such a great group of guys here looking for help, referrals, etc and one has to shy away from referring people to an actual site sponsor, know what I mean?
Maybe some of this press will help them get their issues straightened out, who knows? I sure hope so - it would definitely be a lot better if I could help someone out who helps US out :) |

Re: Cart King..... um.... WOW!
Oooo, Brew City, BU is a bad word around here. I've gone several rounds with them on various issues over the past 6-7 years or so.
I would never recommend them! BGW was created as an alternative to their forum so that people could speak freely about products that were not from them. If you did this on their forum, they would edit you............ Sorry BC but you may have started a shlt storm with that one. |

Re: Cart King..... um.... WOW!
Yeeesh - I wasn't trying to kick the hornets nest or anything, guys - a newer member made a post, and I simply made a comment, that's all. I LOVE this forum, have been an active contributor for 2 years now - and I'm not about to change that ... Without BGW, I never would have learned as much as I know (and continue to learn) about carts, THAT'S for sure - but contributing what I've learned PERSONALLY about businesses, that's just a part of me "giving back" - As mentioned, the abilty to "speak freely" is what it's all about, right?
If a forum restricts conversations to their products, that's definitely opression. What does one call it when a forum restricts conversations to their sponsors? ANYHOW - I'm sorry, Mia Culpa - I'll restrict referrals, etc to PM's, not openly on the threads, sorry !!! Have a great Holiday, Everyone !!! Dale |
