Using your G1 for Camping and Hunting
I want to get some idea's on mods for my G1 to make it more practical for hunting and camping or just cool offroad points. Mine has a lift with 22" tires and i am in the process of making the rear seat fold out to a utility bed. Please post pics

I really don't off-road much but you are going to need something to stop branches and brush from whacking you, almost like a windshield frame.

Install hitch mounts front and rear then mount a small winch that could be used front or rear. If your off road only then you could lock the differential for better traction

Re: Using your G1 for Camping and Hunting
I want to put a top and windshield on it just not sure if i am going roll cage or just stock style yet. I have a receiver on the rear and will make one for the front when i build a new bumper. I have ordered the badlands atv winch from HF. it was on sale this weekend for $49.

Re: Using your G1 for Camping and Hunting
The windshield I used was from a club car ds 2000.5 and up. I cut the frame just below the curve for the ds roof mount and cut the rear support in the same way then welded the two together then finished it with a ds split windshield. I added a skid plate for the rear diff after smacking a rock and will do a write up on it. I built this cart for offroad use and it has been a fun build and more fun driving it.

Re: Using your G1 for Camping and Hunting
Get one of the inserts plowmans sells or something for the flatbed when you fold the back seat down. The flat bed sucks and stuff flies off all the time. Putting a drop-in style box in it like a dump bed will do a much better job at keeping everything where you want it to be (in the cart, and not on the ground left behind)
