Default 83 Yamaha g1 what am I missing

I bought this golf cart as a wiring nightmare. I cannot get the starter to engage. Am I missing anything in the picture besides a back up buzzer? And also I have two sets of wires not hooked up the far left set is for buzzer what is the other set for?

I have googled it and tried following it, but I am just stumped on those wires, is there supposed to be an electrical componet to the left of the voltage regulator?

On the one I have setting here that is where the CDI is. At least that's what I think it is.

OK found out what I was missing there and it was a relay, now I'm looking for a linkage that goes on the front side of the motor(right above starter/generator) and has to do with the throttle.does anyone know what this is called, or where I can get this part? Thanks

That particular linkage controls a butterfly in the exhaust port. I believe it's purpose is to reduce back pressure at low speeds to achieve a smoother run. I've read on other threads that it is not necessary and your engine will run fine without it. Mine doesn't have it and runs ok.
